State Predictions/ Potential New Playoff Format

These are my projected State Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and Championship game winners.

Private

Quarter Finals: Delbarton vs Pingry, Gloucester Catholic vs CBA, Don Bosco vs Mo-Beard,
St. Augustine vs St. Peter's

Semi-Finals: Delbarton vs Gloucester Catholic, St. Augustine vs Don Bosco

Finals: Delbarton vs St. Augustine

Winner: Delbarton

Public A

Quarter Finals: Randolph vs Toms River South, Ridge vs Westfield, Montgomery vs Ridgewood, Bridgewater vs Morris Knolls

Semi-Finals: Randolph vs Westfield, Montgomery vs Morris Knolls

Finals: Randolph vs Montgomery

Winner: Randolph

Public B

Quarter Finals: Chatham vs Hopewell Valley, Kinnelon vs Mahwah, Mt. Lakes vs Middletown South, Summit vs Brick

Semi-Finals: Chatham vs Mahwah, Mt.Lakes vs Brick

Finals: Chatham vs Brick

Winner: Brick

If I were to make a new playoff format instead of this setup, I would. What I would do is separate the top 8 teams from each of the following groups based off of location. Such as North, South, Central, and West. Both public and private would play against each other. Then from there rank them 1 through 8 in each district. And have 2 of the 8 teams play in each of the different districts, so you would have 2 teams from each district playing against eachother. They would split up as so, 1 and 5 play home, while 2 and 6 each go to a different location than 1 and 5 , 3 and 7 go to a different location than 2 and 6, and 4 and 8 would go to the remaining district, this would make it even play. The winner of each section would advance to the semi-finals vs another section, and the winners play in the finals, the losers in a 3rd place consolation game.
This is more of a breakdown:

North would consist of: North Gold, Silver, Green, Bergen Catholic, Don Bosco, Montclair, MKA, Nutley, Total Teams = 31

Central would consist of: UCIHL, Skyland, GMC, All CVC teams, St. Peters, East Side, Bernards
Total Teams = 37

South would consist of: Shore A, B, C, D, CBA, Gloucester Catholic, Bishop Eustace, St. Augustine,Paul VI, St. Joes (Ham), Total Teams = 30

West would consist of: Mennen, Halvorsen, Haas, Charette, Delbarton, Seton Hall, Pope John, Livingston, Milburn, Verona, West Essex, West Orange, High Point, Newton, Sparta, Vernon
Total Teams = 32

The Gordon teams would be put into their locations, as well as the NJIHL North, and West divisions.
