"The Greatest Game Never Played"

After 21 years, the puck will finally drop for the “Greatest Hockey Game Never Played”. In1989, the

New Jersey State Ice Hockey Championship between Delbarton School in Morristown and St. Joseph

Regional High School of Montvale was canceled due to a measles outbreak at Delbarton. The teams

were declared “Co Champions” by the NJSIAA. Neither team was satisfied with the outcome. As one

of the most highly anticipated hockey championships in State history, this game generated great

debate over who would have won. On April 3rd, 2010 NJ State ice hockey fans will finally get an

answer. Both teams have assembled 19 out of the original 20 players. Players and coaches from both

teams will travel from across the country to battle it out on the ice one last time – this time for

charity. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased at

www.frozenflashback.com.
